Michael Camenzuli was operating a 1999 21 foot Sea Ray Express Cruiser in the waters west of Orowoc Creek, returning to the Bay Shore Marina, when he went off course at a high rate of speed and crashed into a bulkhead, launching the boat out of the water and onto land at approximately 11:37 p.m., according to police.

Camenzuli was ejected from the boat into the water, where he climbed the bulkhead to shore, said police.

Marine Bureau officers and Third Precinct officers responded to the scene.

Camenzuli was transported via Bay Shore Rescue ambulance to Southside Hospital in Bay Shore for treatment of minor injuries. Camenzuli was alone on the boat. There were no other injuries.

Camenzuli, of 31st Drive in Astoria, Queens, is scheduled to be arraigned at a later date.
